In the month of Thanksgiving,
WE REFLECT ON OUR BLESSINGS OF FAMILY
For those of us who work or volunteer at King’s Home, we are constantly reminded that if you are blessed with a family, you are truly rich. You have people who care about you, who support you, and as you grow provide you with guidance, a safety net, and safe harbor from the storms of life.
Unfortunately, our children and women at King’s Home don’t have that blessing. They come to us broken and we help them heal. We help them think beyond the wounds inflicted from their earthly families and realize they are God’s chosen children and are members of a heavenly family.
Everyday we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting the tangible needs of each precious soul entrusted to us by providing them with a loving support system complete with shelter, clothing, counseling, and so much more.
So, at Thanksgiving, before you set your table, help us set the tables at King's Home so that each wounded youth, woman, and child can experience the sincere love and warmth of family. We humbly ask you to join us in helping residents at King's Home by giving to our Celebration of Hope* Giving Campaign.

*Last year, we gathered together as one big King's Home family to celebrate the great things the Lord has done to change the lives of abused and homeless youth, women and children seeking refuge at King's Home during our Celebration of Hope Luncheon. We were able to invite friends and family to come hear inspiring stories of hope, learn more about King's Home, and honor some of our amazing residents, volunteers, and staff. Sadly, we will not be able to gather together as one big family due to COVID-19.
