DANIEL A. MOORE
Coach Nick Saban
College Football Playoff Edition
Artist Daniel A. Moore’s remastered his pencil drawing portrait of Coach Nick Saban exclusively for King's Home! This new one-of-a-kind College Football Playoff Edition portrays the greatest college football coach in history while celebrating Coach Saban's incredible success and raising funds for abused youth, women, and children seeking refuge at King's Home.
About the Portrait
Moore found inspiration for this work in Leonardo da Vinci’s striking drawing, the Turin Self Portrait. In keeping with that genre, the artist has digitally infused tone and background into his drawing to visually simulate some of the same patina and richness inherent in the Old Master’s centuries-old masterpiece.
This remastered Coach Nick Saban portrait honors his success with the College Football Playoff (CFP). The 4-team CFP structure was created in 2014 due to Alabama’s dominance in the prior 2-team BCS structure where Coach Saban won National Championships in 2009, 2011, and 2012. But the expansion to include 4 teams didn’t stop Nick Saban with Alabama winning the CFP National Championship in 2015, 2017, and 2020. Now after his most recent victory they are already proposing another expansion to attempt to slow Alabama down.
This timeless work of art by Alabama’s most famous and nationally renowned artist Daniel A. Moore will be marketed this summer as a limited edition print exclusively by King’s Home and is certain to become a treasured collectible addition to Alabama ‘fancaves’ across the state and nation.
