My Hope Lives

Prodigal Pottery

Prodigal Pottery’s mission is to provide a safe and therapeutic work environment for the women of King’s Home that develops healthy professional skills, interpersonal relationships and spiritual depth. We transform the lives of at-risk women by providing them meaningful employment, while equipping our staff the entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed.

Take home your own handcrafted, personalized pottery! Choose from our ETSY catalog.  You can also visit our SHOW ROOM in Chelsea Monday through Friday 11:00 am – 3:00 pm CST.

King’s Home’s Art Ceramics Program, known as “Prodigal Pottery”, is based on the scripture Isaiah 64:8.  Our hope is to glorify God through equipping at risk youth and women to express themselves through creative outlets. Prodigal Pottery goals are three-fold. First is to provide an environment for healing through art therapy for abused youth, moms and kids. Secondly, Prodigal Pottery will facilitate community outreach to collaborate with other at-risk or special needs groups. Thirdly, Prodigal Pottery will provide job and skills training for King’s Home adult residents, and a revenue source to support the program as painted pottery is offered for sale.

Prodigal Pottery is always so thankful for your support and donations to our program.
